9th Annual Celebrate Priesthood will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, at
SAINT PAUL DIOCESAN JR./SR. High School, 144 Granite Street, Worcester.

Close to 55 priests are currently retired throughout our Diocese, and despite the inability for many of them to assist in parishes, they continue to care for the people of God
with great zeal. Retirement for a priest means to retire from active ministry, but it does not mean to retire from priestly care for the People of God. Our retired priests continue to pray daily for special intentions. They often give their time to hear confessions and celebrate Mass in our parishes.
