Haitian Ministry Update - Update on Bokolo Chapel

Great progress has been made in the rebuilding of the Bokolo chapel.  This chapel is one of the 11 chapel communities served by Fr. Serge and St. Michel's parish in Roche-a-Bateau, Haiti. The chapel had been completely destroyed in Hurricane Matthew in October of 2016. Our Haiti team visited the community which is a 2.5 hour walk from St. Michel's when we visited in May 2017.   The photos below show the condition of the chapel when we visited.





Since our visit, great progress has been made in rebuilding the chapel.  Along with our monthly support for our sister parish we have been sending funds in installments for the rebuilding of the Bokolo chapel.   We received the photos below from Fr. Serge to share the recent celebration of the Patronal Feast of Beauclos held in the chapel that your contributions made this possible.  Thank-you for your continued generosity to the people of Haiti.
