This week in our Religious Education classes, Mrs. Canfield and our Catechists guided our students in a special activity: creating Sacrifice Beads. Inspired by the devotion to St. Therese, these prayer beads serve as a beautiful reminder of the power of quiet acts of service and sacrifice in our daily lives.
St. Therese, also known as the Little Flower, utilized her "
sacrifice beads" to track the small gifts she offered to God throughout the day. From simple acts of kindness to moments of patience and selflessness, each bead symbolized a gesture of love and devotion.
As our students crafted their own Sacrifice Beads, they were encouraged to reflect on the good deeds they can do.
