Fr. Stephen Mullaney

Fr. Stephen was ordained a priest by Bishop Robert McManus  just one month ago on June 1st.  A native of Leominster, Fr. Stephen has been a lifelong member of St. Leo's Parish where he celebrated all three Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, First Eucharist and Confirmation.  It was also the church where he celebrated his First Mass of Thanksgiving the day after his ordination.  

After graduating from Northeastern University Fr. Steve worked as a Civil Engineer for twenty years and served as a member of the board of directors of the North Central MA Chamber of Commerce for many years.  

Fr. Stephen began his studies and formation for the priesthood in 2020 at Pope St. John XXIII Seminary in Weston, MA.  He served his seminarian internships for two years at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Upton and his deacon internship at St. Rose of Lima in Northboro.
